Frosty the Snowmen

July 18th, 2009 § 0

I bumped into yet another 40-year-old ex-classmate of mine from Secondary school.

I think the lesson learnt here is, cleanse, tone, moisturise.

I found a pic I put together some years back that STILL cracks me up. The product is an actual work desk that’s probably still being sold and the pictures are actual publicity pictures.

Jump Jump Revolution

This. Is an arcade machine that went for $2 a pop at the new arcade at Iluma in Bugis.

Shaun and I both cramped in the middle of it. Pretty amazing stuff. The machine has a bouncy jump pad with a handle shaped like a pogo stick and you’re supposed to hop on the spot and make your way around a race course. The cool bit is that the machine doesn’t merely register your rabid hopping (aka Track and Field), it also registers how much pressure you exert on the pad – the harder you hop the further you travel. So while I registered a total of almost 450 hops in the span of 2:18, Shaun won the race by a whole 3 seconds despite hopping a mere 300 times.

That’s the most exercise I had in a month.

Where am I?
