Part 3: New York City

It wasn’t the bright lights that impressed me. Nor was it Broadway and all the shopping districts. Nope. It was really how the cityscape much resembled the environments in the Spiderman videogame that got me quite awestruck.Food in New York City isn’t generally cheap but pick any pizza or bagel from the streets and chances are they are priced decently AND are tasty.

After catching Chicago on Broadway, I thought I’d pop by a cafe to grab a slice of cheesecake because the window display was tantalizing. I didn’t know what was good so I asked for a recommendation. This one is FILLED with macademia nuts and chocolate and costs over ten bucks a slice. I felt utterly sick of it after I finished half and haven’t eaten a cheesecake since.

There’s a 2 storey-high M&Ms store in New York City. There’re tubes and tubes of M&Ms in all sorts of shades and colors there. If the store attendants weren’t around, I’d put my mouth at the opening and fill it up.

I quite liked the museums. You can spend days walking around in them because they’re all so huge. This is a view from the roof.

The knight who ended up with this headpiece must be quite a riot.

Nintendo World is quite overhyped. The name gives the impression of a huge store with tons and tons of exclusive Nintendo merchandise but there’s really nothing much in there save for some ’store-exclusive’ overpriced mugs that aren’t very pretty to begin with. There weren’t even cool Pokemon toys around and I believe the Wii was out of stock.

I wish I had room for some pizza at Little Italy.
